Even though we have almost emerged from the economic slump of the last few years and there is a visible pick up in all sectors I feel that it is still important now, more than ever to support Irish retailers. I was so happy when this little parcel arrived in the door the other day. Firstly, can we talk about the care and attention to detail? I was immediately excited to open it up. Inside I found a gift card from FromMe2You, the sister company of Retail Excellence Ireland. This card can literally be used in thousands of stores across Ireland and what I love is that it not only includes high street stores but also hotels, restaurants and smaller independent stores and boutiques. They have also recently expanded their offering to include Tesco, meaning they are the only multi-store gift card in the country to offer a national grocer too.

My gorgeous gift from FromMe2You

I think that this would be a great gift if you were unsure what to choose for someone or perhaps even as a Secret Santa gift or stocking filler. You can pick up the cards in participating Topaz and Payzone sites countrywide as well as online here.

The number of stores this can be used in is truly impressive but the list includes; Boots, Pandora, Inglot, Peter Mark, Pamela Scott, The Body Shop and Debenhams to name just a few. Also included were some local stores here in Limerick such as O’ Donnell Boutique and Tadgh Kearney Jewellers. For a full range of stores in  your locality check out their website.

As a matter of transparency I would like to disclose that I was gifted a gift card from a PR on behalf of this company. This is not a sponsored post and I chose to post about this service as I really like the idea and would like to encourage more people to support Irish businesses and buy Irish this Christmas.
